Multiple people injured in large I-94 crash in Chicago suburbs, authorities report.
A multi-vehicle crash occurred on Interstate 94 in the north suburbs early Sunday morning, injuring several individuals, including a pedestrian. The incident took place on I-94 northbound near Golf Street in Skokie, as reported by Illinois State Police. The crash, involving six vehicles, was responded to by troopers around 4:47 a.m. Multiple individuals, including the pedestrian, were transported to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Illinois State Police did not disclose the exact number of hospitalized individuals or the severity of their injuries. Traffic lanes were closed for several hours as authorities conducted their investigation, with normalcy returning by 11:20 a.m. The crash is currently under investigation by ISP.
