Multiple injured, road closed after crash involving school bus in Southbury

SOUTHBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — Multiple people were injured and a roadway remains closed Wednesday after a multi-vehicle crash involving a school bus in Southbury. Police confirmed a Region 14 school bus was involved in the multi-vehicle crash on Southford Road (Route 67) in the area of Jeremy Swamp Road. Several people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police. Route 67 is closed at Community House Road, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation. Drivers should expect delays and/or closures in the area as the investigation continues.
