Multi-car collision in Berks County leads to detour on Old Route 22
Authorities are currently looking into a collision that took place in Berks County involving a total of 12 vehicles. This incident, which included four commercial vehicles and eight passenger vehicles, happened around 8 a.m. last Saturday. Emergency responders helped free individuals trapped in the vehicles and provided medical assistance to those injured. State police mentioned that a stretch of I-78 in Greenwich Township had to be shut down in both directions for several hours due to the crash. The affected area has since reopened to traffic.
