Motorcyclist seriously injured in Bethel crash
BETHEL, Maine (WGME) -- A Maine motorcyclist has been seriously injured after colliding with a van in Bethel. The crash happened near Mayville Road and North Road around 9 a.m. on Tuesday According to the Oxford County Sheriff's Office, a van driven by a 43-year-old Bethel man tried to turn left onto North Road and collided with a motorcycle operated by a 49-year-old Bethel man. Also read: Man dies after being found in South Portland pool Deputies say the motorcyclist suffered severe lower extremity injuries and was taken to Stephens Memorial Hospital and later transported via Life Flight to Maine Medical Center in Portland. The van driver was not injured. The crash remains under investigation.
