Motorcyclist killed in Lake County crash: Police
MADISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WJW) - Police officials are investigating after a deadly crash involving a motorcycle in Lake County on Friday morning. According to the Madison Township Department of Police, officers responded to the crash just before 8:30 a.m. along state Route 528 near Ledge Road in Madison Township. When they got there, officers found the victim, a 66-year-old Madison man, with serious injuries. A preliminary investigation revealed that the rider was heading north on SR 528 when he went off the right side of the roadway. The motorcycle overturned and the rider was thrown from it. The victim was taken by first responders to University Hospitals in Geneva, where he later was pronounced dead from his injuries. The deadly crash remains under investigation at this time.
