Motorcyclist killed in Hopkinton crash
HOPKINTON, R.I. (WPRI) — A motorcyclist died after he crashed late Wednesday night in Hopkinton. Police said they responded to Clarks Falls Road around 11:15 p.m. and found Donald Hopkins Jr. unresponsive in the wood line. Hopkins, 61, was taken to Westerly Hospital where he died from his injuries. Based on their initial investigation, police said it appeared Hopkins was riding toward the Connecticut line when he left the roadway and hit a rock, causing him to lose control and crash between Kuehn and Pine Woods roads.
