Motorcyclist killed in crash with SUV in South Salt Lake; road closed for several hours
A motorcyclist was killed and a driver was injured in a crash. The motorcyclist collided with a Mazda CX-9 just after 3:45 p.m. near 3300 South and 200 East, according to Shaun Ward, a spokesperson for the South Salt Lake Police Department. The motorcyclist died at the scene. The driver of the Mazda was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Utah Department of Transportation estimated the road would be closed until approximately 9:15 p.m. _____
