Motorcyclist killed in crash with pickup in Woodburn
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A two-vehicle crash in Woodburn left a motorcyclist dead early Tuesday evening, authorities said. Just before 6 p.m., officers responded to reports of a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Butteville Road NE and Lebrun Road NE. Early investigation found a Dodge pickup was driving east on Lebrun Road and turned left onto Butteville Road. A motorcycle traveling in the southbound lane on Butteville Road then hit the pickup. The motorcyclist, identified as 35-year-old Cyrus Pino, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the pickup driver was not injured, remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. "At this time, preliminary information does not suggest the crash was criminal in nature," officials added. The road was closed for around four hours for the duration of the on-scene investigation.
