Motorcyclist killed in crash on State Highway 281 in Tully
One person was killed in a motorcycle crash in the Town of Tully, the New York State Police announced. Emergency crews responded to the crash on State Highway 281 near the intersection of Meeting House Road around 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday. The police said a preliminary investigation showed that an SUV was turning left from a parking lot onto State Highway 281 when it collided with a motorcycle traveling on the highway. The motorcyclist was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. Their name was not released. Their identity was withheld pending notification of family. The driver of the SUV was not hurt. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
