Motorcyclist killed in Bristol, Tennessee, crash; police asking for witnesses
A motorcyclist was killed in a crash that happened in Bristol, Tennessee, on Thursday morning, according to police. Police said the crash happened in the 2600 block of Volunteer Parkway at around 6:15 a.m. According to authorities, the driver of a pickup was crossing the roadway and was struck by the motorcycle, which was headed north. The motorcyclist was identified as 43-year-old Joshua Lee Mumpower, of Bristol, Tennessee. He was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
