Motorcyclist injured in crash near Jacobson Park dies days later

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — The motorcyclist who was critically injured in a May 15 crash near Jacobson Park involving an SUV died in the early hours of Wednesday morning from his injuries. At 1:43 a.m. on May 20, the Fayette County Coroner's Office pronounced the motorcyclist dead from multiple blunt force injuries. He was identified as 41-year-old Andrew Glasscock of Georgetown. Lexington authorities reported that the SUV passenger in Friday's crash was removed from the vehicle and hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. Three other passengers were hospitalized with minor injuries, officials said. The coroner's office announced that additional information about the crash would be sent through a separate news release.
