Motorcyclist fighting for life after crash in Chesterfield
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A motorcyclist is fighting for their life after a Tuesday evening crash in Chesterfield County. At about 6:38 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, officers with the Chesterfield County Police Department were called to the intersection of Genito and Watercove Roads for report of a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle. Details are limited at this time, but a police spokesperson told 8News that the driver of the motorcycle was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. No additional information is available. As of the time of reporting, Genito Road in the area of the crash is shut down as police continue to investigate.
