Motorcyclist ejected, killed in crash in Yadkin County, NC State Highway Patrol says
EAST BEND, N.C. (WGHP) — A motorcyclist is dead following a single-vehicle crash Saturday night, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol. On Saturday at 8:28 p.m., troopers responded to a reported crash in which Daniel Eli Howard, 57, of East Bend, was traveling north on Martin's Mill Road near Friendship Circle Road on a 2024 Harley Davidson motorcycle. Howard reportedly went off the road to the right and hit a ditch before colliding with a small tree. He was ejected from the bike in the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The roadway was closed for nearly seven hours following the crash.
