A 61-year-old man from Los Angeles County tragically lost his life in the early hours of Thursday morning following a motorcycle accident on Los Angeles Avenue in Simi Valley. The incident occurred near Los Angeles Avenue and Angus Avenue, east of Runway Street, and was reported around 2:10 a.m. by the Simi Valley Police Department. The rider, whose identity has not yet been released, was found deceased by Ventura County Fire crews at the scene. The investigation, led by SVPD Traffic Collision Investigators Cameron Schroeck and Frank Cohen, has indicated that speed and alcohol were likely factors in the crash.
