Motorcyclist dies in morning crash near Woodmen and I-25

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said a motorcycle rider had died from injuries sustained during a crash on Tuesday, April 7. On Tuesday at around 8:45 a.m., officers were called to the 6800 block of Corporate Drive near Woodmen Road and I-25 for a pickup vs motorcycle crash. When police arrived, they found a motorcycle rider who had sustained severe injuries during the crash. The rider was taken to the hospital, where they later died from the injuries, according to CSPD. The driver of the pickup was treated on scene for minor injuries. No arrests have been made at this time, according to CSPD. Speed is being investigated as a contributing factor to the crash.
