Motorcyclist dies after early Friday crash on Northeast Glisan Street
A motorcyclist died following a crash early Friday morning. READ MORE | FOIE GONE: Portland City Council bans foie gras from restaurants with 7-5 vote According to the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office, first responders were dispatched to the 23300 block of Northeast Glisan Street at 2:41 a.m. "When crews arrived, they found the motorcyclist on the ground, unconscious with traumatic injuries," the sheriff's office said. "Paramedics took the motorcyclist to the hospital, where the rider later died." Officials believe the motorcyclist crashed into the back of a vehicle. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. Northeast Glisan Street is closed in both directions between Northeast 238th Avenue and Wood Village Boulevard while the East County Vehicular Crimes Team investigates.
