Motorcyclist dead after crash with car in West Jordan
WEST JORDAN, Utah (ABC4) — A motorcyclist was pronounced dead on scene on Sunday night after a crash involving another car in West Jordan. According to West Jordan Police Department (WJPD), they responded to a crash involving a motorcycle and a sedan at approximately 8:10 p.m. in the intersection of Banquet Ave and Cougar Lane in West Jordan. The motorcyclist was given life-saving measures, but he was pronounced dead on scene. He was later identified as 25 years old, according to WJPD. The driver of the other vehicle remains on scene and is reportedly cooperating with authorities. Crash reconstruction teams are investigating contributing factors for the crash. Cougar Lane between 6400 S and 6600 S will be closed for the next three to four hours, according to WJPD.
