Motorcyclist dead after crash at an Upstate intersection, troopers say
A motorcyclist has died after a crash at an intersection in Anderson County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.Troopers say it happened at 12:30 a.m. Friday on Highway 413 at Haynie Drive near Belton.Officials say a Chevy pickup was heading south on Highway 413 and was attempting to turn east onto Haynie Drive.The motorcyclist was heading north on Highway 413, and the two vehicles collided at the intersection.Troopers say the motorcyclist was killed and the pickup truck driver was uninjured.The victim has not been identified, and this crash remains under investigation.
