Motorcyclist critically injured in crash near UNLV
LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Las Vegas police are investigating a crash involving a motorcycle late Saturday night near the University District. According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, officers responded around 9:44 p.m. to a vehicle crash at the intersection of Flamingo Road and University Center Drive. Police said the crash involved a motorcycle rider, who was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition. The intersection was restricted Saturday night as officers investigated the crash. Police said northbound and southbound lanes in the area were closed and advised drivers to avoid the area and expect delays. No additional details about the crash were immediately released.
