Motorcycle rider dies after Springfield crash
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A man riding a motorcycle was killed in a crash involving a car in Springfield Tuesday evening. The Springfield Police Department says that at around 6:50 p.m., officers were called to a crash involving a car and a motorcycle at the intersection of Parker Street and Nantasket Street. The motorcycle rider was taken to Baystate Medical Center, where he died due to his injuries. The driver remained on scene, and the Springfield Police Department's Traffic Unit is investigating.
