Miraculous Christmas survival of two pilots in Doraville plane crash

Two individuals sustained injuries following a small plane's crash in a residential region of DeKalb County, according to authorities. Dunwoody police were dispatched to the scene on Homeland Drive after receiving reports of the incident. It was later confirmed that the crash took place in Doraville, with some wreckage landing in Dunwoody. The aircraft involved was a Beechcraft B90 with a capacity for six passengers, en route to DeKalb-Peachtree Airport, as per the FAA. The plane struck a tree roughly 60 feet above the ground before making a crash landing in the residential locality, causing no damage to structures. Both pilots, the occupants of the plane, managed to exit the aircraft post-crash and were taken to a medical facility for minor injuries. Doraville Police Department's Assistant Chief Brian Harris expressed astonishment that the pilots escaped unharmed, referring to it as a remarkable incident. Investigations into the matter are being carried out by the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board.
