A minor is dead after being hit by a car overnight in Harrisburg, according to the police. Around 6:30 p.m., Harrisburg police were called to the 2000 block of Derry Street, where a minor pedestrian had been hit. The police said officers immediately provided medical aid to the minor before they were rushed to an area hospital for advanced medical care. They would ultimately die as a result of their injuries, the police confirmed. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
