Metra service disrupted by Amtrak accident in Lemont, Illinois

Metra service to Chicago's southwest suburbs was disrupted Thursday afternoon due to an accident involving an Amtrak train and a car.The accident happened in downtown Lemont. Details of what happened were not immediately learned.The accident impacted the Metra Heritage Corridor Line to Joliet.
