A former Milwaukee County Transit System bus driver is facing charges for allegedly hitting and killing a pedestrian in Greenfield while intoxicated. Dameon Peters is accused of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle after a crash that resulted in the death of 61-year-old George Kayser. Peters was terminated from his job following the incident. Reports indicate that Peters had a blood alcohol content of 0.236 at the time of the crash. Surveillance footage shows Peters displaying signs of impairment shortly before the collision occurred, with his eyes barely open and appearing to turn the bus slightly away from Kayser before the impact.
