McClellanville man died in Highway 41 crash, coroner says
BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A 32-year-old McClellanville man died in a Wednesday morning crash on Highway 41, officials said. The single-vehicle accident happened around 7:30 a.m. on SC-41 near Jerico Horse Trail. The South Carolina Highway Patrol said the vehicle, a 2008 Toyota sedan, ran off the road and hit a tree. Berkeley County Coroner Darnell Hartwell identified the victim as David Lee. He said Lee was the only person in the vehicle when it crashed and died at the scene. The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and Highway Patrol are investigating.
