Mass. man killed in late night motorcycle crash
A man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Westport, Massachusetts, Saturday night, the Bristol County District Attorney announced. Police responded to 178 Main Rd. after receiving a report of a motorcycle crash. When officers arrived, they found the operator, John Soares, IV, 29, of Fall River, located 50 feet from the motorcycle. The bike had significant damage and debris from the crash was scattered in the road and into the property of a nearby home. A telephone pole and a wall were also damaged in the crash.Soares was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash is under investigation.
