Man seriously hurt after car crashes into Fort Washington auto parts store, officials say
FORT WASHINGTON, Md. (DC News Now) -- A man was seriously hurt after crashing into a Fort Washington auto parts store over the weekend, officials said. Prince George's County firefighters were initially called to the Advanced Auto Parts in the Olde Forte Village Shopping Center around 4:15 p.m. on Sunday for a "collapse investigation." At the scene, crews found a Hyundai over the curb, crashed into the front of the auto parts store, according to the Prince George's County Fire and EMS Department. Medics transported one man from the vehicle to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
