Man killed in overnight Weslaco crash, police say
WESLACO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A man was killed overnight following a two-vehicle crash that occurred at the intersection of Border Avenue and Business 83, according to a spokesperson from the Weslaco Police Department. The identity of the deceased man is being withheld until his family has been notified, police said. A Weslaco police officer was conducting a traffic stop in the area when just after midnight, he observed a two-vehicle crash accident. The driver of one vehicle was killed and police say the second driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment, but did not sustain serious injuries. The crash remains under investigation at this time.
