Man in Long Beach arrested for fatally hitting pedestrian post argument

A man in Long Beach was taken into custody on Sunday for deliberately running over and killing a pedestrian after an altercation, according to police. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning on Newport Avenue, resulting in the death of the pedestrian at the scene. The suspect, identified as Isai Solis, fled the scene following the collision and was later apprehended in Lynwood. Authorities arrested the 28-year-old suspect for murder, and he is currently being held on a $2 million bail. The victim was identified as Samuel Ocegueda, a Long Beach resident.
