Man from Minnesota dies in rollover crash in Union Township
A man lost his life in a late-night crash in Union Township, as reported by the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The crash happened just before 10:30 p.m. on Saturday on Creek Road, south of Old US 35. According to authorities, Joseph Buschel, 48, of Big Lake, MN, was driving a 2018 GMC Yukon southbound on Creek Road when it veered off the road, collided with an embankment, and overturned. Tragically, Buschel was pronounced dead at the scene by Washington Court House EMS. The OSHP received assistance from the Washington Court House Fire and EMS and the Fayette County Sheriff's Office, while the Wilmington Post continues the investigation into the crash.
