Man from Exeter dies in accident involving ATV
An Exeter resident involved in an ATV accident sadly passed away following the incident, as confirmed by the Rhode Island State Police. Michael Pelletier, aged 33, lost his life on Tuesday at Rhode Island Hospital due to injuries sustained in the crash. The authorities suspect that the crash occurred when three ATV riders were traveling in a line on Liberty Hill Road on Saturday evening. Initial reports indicate that the first ATV slowed down near Sanford Farm, resulting in being rear-ended by the second ATV driven by Pelletier. Both Pelletier and his 33-year-old passenger were ejected from the ATV upon collision, despite both wearing helmets. The extent of the passenger's injuries is currently unknown.
