Man dies in Trumbull County crash: OSHP

HUBBARD, Ohio (WKBN)- The Ohio State Highway Patrol's Warren Post is investigating a fatal crash in Hubbard Township on Tuesday morning. Troopers were called to Mount Everett Road Southeast in the area of Seifert Lewis Road Southeast in Hubbard Township around 12:15 a.m. Reports said that a 2021 Dodge Ram was traveling east on Mount Everett Road. Reports said that the driver went off the left side of the roadway and struck a number of trees before the vehicle rolled to its final rest. OSHP said that there was a driver and three passengers in the vehicle. OSHP said that two of the passengers were juvenile brothers. Reports said that one of the passengers, Brendon E. Nichols, 31, of Youngstown, died at the scene. Troopers said that the people in the vehicle were not wearing seatbelts. OSHP said that speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash.
