A Forsyth man is dead after a tree fell on him last Friday, according to an incident report from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office. Around 8:00 p.m., a deputy responded to the 400 block of Madison Lane after a woman reported that a tree had fallen on her husband, identified as 56-year-old Forrest Adams. The deputy arrived to find the man in the back side of the home, next to a fallen tree, not breathing. As Adams used a long rope tied to the tree, in an effort to pull it from the other, it fell on top of him as he attempted to run away. She shared a video she recorded of the incident with the deputy. An additional investigator and Deputy Coroner Jessica Williams were called to the scene to pronounce Adams, per the report. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
