Man dead after crash on I-24 in Whites Creek
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A deadly crash involving an overturned vehicle shut down Interstate 24 West for several hours overnight. According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation, the crash was reported at 10:24 p.m. at mile marker 38.8, near the Old Hickory Boulevard exit. Metro police said multiple people were hurt, and one man died from his injuries. The interstate was fully shut down for hours overnight, however, the left lane has now reopened. The right lane and shoulder remain closed while authorities investigate. No additional details have been released.
