Man admits to manslaughter in fatal Rosamond collision

A man in Bakersfield, California, who was accused of causing a fatal crash in Rosamond while driving under the influence, has accepted a no contest plea for a manslaughter charge this week. The man, Reynaldo Guadalupe Garcia, is facing six years in prison and is set for sentencing in March. The incident occurred when Garcia, driving a Ford Edge, collided with a Honda Civic driven by Erika Renee Olmedo at an intersection. Tragically, Olmedo lost her life in the accident. Garcia was found to be under the influence at the time of the crash and was arrested by a CHP officer.
