Man accused of causing crash that killed 2 and injured 2, according to police
A man from Baltimore City has been arrested and charged in connection with a tragic crash in Howard County that resulted in the deaths of two individuals from North Carolina. The victims, Venkata Asha Khanna Appana and Krishna Kishore Koti Kalapudi, were pronounced dead following the accident. Two other individuals were injured and flown to a trauma center. According to law enforcement, the suspect, Michael Coupet, was driving on the wrong side of Interstate 95 when the collision occurred. The Maryland State Police Crash Team is currently investigating the incident.
