Mall district hit by temporary blackout after car crash
Some customers at the Roseville Galleria Mall had a unique experience on December 22 when a car accident caused a brief power outage during the busy holiday shopping season. The incident disrupted about 40 percent of the stores in the mall and surrounding areas. Jeff Richardson, the Senior General Manager, emphasized that the city's quick response through Roseville Electric restored power within 20 minutes. Despite the minor inconvenience, the mall's emergency lights were operational, allowing shoppers to continue with their Christmas shopping. Richardson praised the efficient system and reassured visitors that everything was back to normal, inviting them to come and shop.
