Major accident on northbound I-15 in Salt Lake City, one person taken to hospital with minor injuries
Traffic has returned to its regular flow in Salt Lake City after a multi-car crash on Northbound I-15 resulted in the blockage of five lanes. According to the Utah Highway Patrol, the collision involving five cars near 2700 South sparked a chain reaction. Initial reports indicate that a semi rear-ended several vehicles, causing them to collide. Another dump truck was also part of the accident. Two tow trucks were present to remove the damaged vehicles. A woman with minor injuries is being taken to the hospital. The crash is currently impacting four lanes in that section of the highway.
