Maine State Police investigating fatal motorcycle crash on I-95 in Sidney
Maine State Police said one man is dead after two motorcycles collided on I-95 northbound in Sidney on Saturday evening.Police said Adam Robinson, 61, of Sangerville and Jayson Lancaster, 28, or Carmel were travelling northbound on separate motorcycles when they passed a vehicle. When they merged back into the right lane, police said Robinson's 2006 Harley Davidson had a defect with the brakes, causing Robinson to be thrown off his motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.Lancaster also crashed into Robinson's motorcycle, but was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.Maine State Police is asking anyone with information to call Trooper Keenan Blier at (207) 973-3700, extension 9.
