She was flown to Boston Children's Hospital, but she succumbed to her injuries. Her father called her a spitfire who loved the color purple and puzzles. He said she was very smart."She was so creative, and there were things that she could see and take conceptually from her mind, even at 5," he said.Cora was the third of five children: Audrey, 9; Marshall, 8; Elsie, 4; and Ivette, 2."We had to, obviously, bring the news that their sister would not be coming home, that their sister is with Christ," Frye said.He said he and his wife, Olivia, find comfort in their faith, in knowing that God must have had some kind of bigger plan."We don't know why she was taken from us, and we're not going to know that answer," Frye said. "But we both believe that there is a greater purpose from this."A GoFundMe has been set up for the Frye family and has raised more than $27,000.
