London man dies in mowing accident after tractor overturned
LONDON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A London man has died following a mowing accident. On Tuesday, April 21, the Laurel County Sheriff's Office announced that a death investigation was underway after a mowing tractor accident two days prior. Sheriff John Root noted that it happened around 6:36 p.m. on Kentucky Highway 638. Jessie K. Cawood, 61, was reportedly operating a "mowing tractor" when it overturned. Cawood was taken to an area hospital by ambulance, where he was later pronounced deceased. "The Laurel County Sheriff's office sends its thoughts and prayers to the family during this difficult time," Root wrote.
