LIVE: Crash on I-85 causes significant roadway damage, police say
A collision on Interstate 85 southbound in Greenville County led to roadway damage and lane closures, prompting traffic redirection and delays on Thursday morning, according to Greenville police. The crash happened near exit 46, the Augusta Road and Mauldin Road exit.As of 10:45 a.m., the WYFF News 4 photographer at the scene said the 18-wheeler had been removed and the exit to Augusta Road reopened. Greenville police said the crash caused large potholes and the South Carolina Department of Transportation had been notified.
