Little Rock 18-year-old charged with murder after dead man found near accident
An 18-year-old Little Rock woman has been charged with capital murder after police found a dead man near the scene of an accident. Police say they responded to reports of a crash on Arch Street around 1:15 p.m. on Sunday. RELATED | Little Rock Police investigating "suspicious death" in area of Arch & 65th Street After arriving at the scene, police say they contacted 18-year-old Kadaysha Ellis, who said that she and another passenger were involved in a "disturbance" which led to an accident where the passenger fled the scene. More than 10 hours later, police found the passenger, 35-year-old North Little Rock native Tony Harper, deceased in a wooded area near the accident. Police say their investigation led them to believe that Ellis was responsible for Harper's death. The investigation remains open and ongoing. KATV will provide details as they become available.
