Lindenhurst Man Killed In Car Accident Honored In Fundraiser: ‘One Of A Kind'
An online fundraiser has been launched for a Long Island man who was killed in a car accident. William “Billy” Scott, 38, died May 31, according to an obituary. His friends and family remembered him as “one of a kind.” “He was the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation and never ask for anything in return,” organizer Louise Caracciolo wrote in the GoFundMe. “His outgoing personality, sense of humor, and genuine kindness made him impossible to forget.” Scott, of Lindenhurst, died when he was struck by a vehicle, according to the fundraiser.
