Lincoln County crash leaves one dead
The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash in Lincoln County. According to officials, the crash happened Friday around 8 a.m. on Highway 84. Authorities said a 2016 Ford F-150 driven by Alexis Bass, 30, of Natchez, was traveling east on Highway 84 when it collided with a 2015 Volkswagen Passat driven by Jeffery Grimes, 40, of Ruth, who was traveling north on East Lincoln Road.Grimes suffered fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.The Mississippi Highway Patrol said the crash remains under investigation.
