All lanes on Interstate 70 in Vigo County have been reopened following a major multi-vehicle crash on Saturday morning near mile marker 15. Approximately 45 vehicles were involved, but thankfully, no injuries were reported. Sergeant Matt Ames provided an update on social media at 4:30 p.m., stating that the interstate has been cleared, although snowfall has resumed. He advised the public to stay home if possible due to the hazardous conditions and emphasized the importance of driving cautiously in inclement weather. The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Vigo County until Sunday morning, predicting 1-3 inches of snow and wind gusts up to 35 mph.
