Lancaster County coroner IDs 80-year-old woman killed in Route 23 crash

The Lancaster County Coroner's Office has identified an 80-year-old woman who died in a crash on Monday, April 20. Video above: Headlines from WGAL News 8 Today. Police said two vehicles collided at the intersection of Marietta Avenue/Route 23 and Bridge Valley Road in West Hempfield Township at 10:22 a.m.Both vehicles were occupied only by the drivers.According to the coroner, Nadine Saenen, 80, of Providence Township, had to be removed from her vehicle by first responders. Saenen was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner ruled her death an accident. Police said the other driver was injured and transported to the hospital. A stretch of Marietta Avenue/Route 23 was closed for several hours while an investigation was conducted. The crash remains under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police. See news happening?
