Juvenile dies after motocross crash in Mason County
MASON, W.Va. (WOWK) - A juvenile has died after a motocross crash this weekend. According to county officials, the crash happened around 11:30 a.m. Sunday during practices at Mason Motocross in Mason County. A HealthNet helicopter was called to the scene, but the child was not stable enough to be flown and was taken to an area hospital by ambulance, officials say. The juvenile later died of their injuries at the hospital, according to officials. The races had been scheduled for noon, but were canceled after the crash.
