ISP: Fulton Co. woman dead after Wednesday crash
FULTON COUNTY, Ind. -- A Fulton County woman was pronounced dead after a reported crash between two passenger vehicles near the junction of US 31 and State Road 110 on Wednesday. According to officials with the Indiana State Police, a 2018 Chevrolet, driven by 72-year-old Sharon Roth, reportedly crossed US 31 while attempting to travel eastbound on State Road 110. Roth's vehicle reportedly turned into the direct path of a 2021 Ford, driven by a 45-year-old from Jenison, Michigan. Officials from ISP stated that the collision caused one vehicle to go off the roadway. Roth was pronounced dead at the scene by the Marshall County Coroner's Office. The Michigan resident and a juvenile passenger were transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officials with the Indiana State Police said the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
