Iowa man killed when car crashes into Pottawattamie County creek
POTTAWATTAMIE COUNTY, Iowa -- A Minden man was killed when his car crashed into a bridge and landed upside down in a Pottawattamie County creek on Monday. According to an Iowa State Patrol crash report, 22-year-old Aaron Charles Roloff of Minden was traveling eastbound on Interstate 880 northwest of Minden at around 4:30 p.m. when his car left the roadway, crossed the median, and crashed into the bridge. The impact then caused the car to become airborne and fall off the bridge, landing upside down in Mosquito Creek. The crash report states that Roloff died from his injuries at the scene. An investigation into the crash is ongoing, the report states.
